FAQ: I have Questions about Jacksboro Sports Images!

I'm so excited you're looking for Jacksboro sports images! I teach 8th grade and started photographing Jacksboro 8th grade sports in 2022 at the request of my 8th graders (because no one was photographing their junior high sports). Since 2022, I have continued to photograph girls' and boys' Jacksboro sports in junior high and high school as "my kids" (that set of students) have grown up. I can't make it to every game but I do my best!

My sports work is 100% VOLUNTEER. My sports images are FREE for students/parents to USE on their social media with appropriate credit given to Caroline Vaughn Photography. To make the most of my time and allow me to continue this service to "my kids", I do not cull missed images or edit/crop these as I do with my professional work. Remember, I'm spending money on this not making money on it, so please be patient. You will need to sport through the gallery of images and find the best ones. Sports and media groups may contact me for permission to use these images with credit to Caroline Vaughn Photography.

These days my passion is creating award worthy images every session! I like to try new things and capture unique talents and interests in beautiful settings. My limited availability means that I have to be selective and "shoot and burn" cookie cutter photography just isn't what makes my heart sing. If you are looking for a traditional family photography session, I can happily refer you to one of my many amazing and competent professional photographer friends who work on a high volume business model.

Right now, I'm focused on photographing select client sessions for my own enjoyment and portfolio. I want to take photography risks, experiment with new techniques and styles, create in amazing settings, weave stories with my lens, and share adventures with my clients! If you're open to handing over creative control and embarking on a photo adventure with a photographer who is relentlessly obsessive and will happily drive 5 hours to arrive on location before the sun, wading waist deep into an ice cold river while holding a camera to capture an epic portrait, keep reading! If it sounds crazy to you to do all that for a photo, I'm probably not who you want to work with.

FAQ: What do you charge?

My standard portrait session starts at $1200. My average client invests around $2500. At this price point, your portrait experience is an investment and not an impulse buy. I want to attract clients who ask thoughtful questions, respect the immense time commitment, really want this experience, specifically want to work with me, and are as excited as I am to spend a day creating some amazing images together!

If you are on a budget, I would encourage you not to give up! You can start saving early, follow my social media for possible discounted sessions and model opportunities, and if you're willing to be flexible you might snag a last minute session for a concept session I've got on my bucket list!
